SUNRAYS Summer Reading Extravaganza – Week 12
It’s week 12 of SUNRAYS Summer Reading Extravaganza! Every week this summer we will be highlighting a children’s book that can help kids learn about composting, recycling, and other sustainable habits!
We are partnering with Save the Children’s Make Summer Fair campaign to raise awareness on the “summer slide” – when children lose up to two months of what they learned the year before. Check in with us every Monday this summer for our reading recommendations to help keep children engaged and learning all summer long!
This week we are highlighting Why Should I Save Water? by Jen Green. In this book, kids are told about dozens of ways in which they and their families can avoid wasting water!
