We’re excited to announce that our grapes have arrived! The first containers of SUNRAYS® grapes arrived this past weekend from Peru and they are looking (and tasting!) fabulous.

We started planning for this expansion into grapes in January and boy has it felt like a lifetime! Just to put it into context, January was still pre-covid days – a time where “pandemic” was a word that barely made up our daily vocabulary. Oh how times have changed! But here we are and to our team’s great credit, in spite of all of the challenges of 2020, we have been able roll out this amazing brand into the grape category. It’s actually quite fitting that out of all of the challenges and dark times of 2020 that SUNRAYS® is making its entry into the grape category – don’t you think?

As you are probably well aware at this point, SUNRAYS® is heavily rooted in making the world a brighter place via our social and environmental missions. Those core values will continue to carry through as we start packing our grapes. Just as for our mandarins, every grape package packed will result in a donation to our partner, Save the Children®, to transform the lives of children across the United States and around the world. At the same time, we will be developing and launching exciting, new sustainable grape packaging options that will further reduce our plastic consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

As for our amazing growers, we have partnered with select, premium grape growers in Peru, Chile and Mexico that share our values in sustainability and quality. All SUNRAYS® grapes are Non-GMO Project Verified (just like our mandarins!) and must meet strict quality guidelines to ensure an outstanding eating experience each and every time. Our growers are also licensed to grow some of the most preferred proprietary grape varieties in the world, which means you are getting some of the very best looking and tasting grape varieties available!
