OUR OUTLOOK

While volumes are down year over year, reductions so far have not been as dramatic as originally believed. There are very few promotions in place, which has slowed sales and kept the market from trending higher, at least for the moment. Still, future arrivals should be very light, so we expect that there will still be some upward momentum to this market in April.

OUR OUTLOOK

While red seedless exports have been reduced in part due to the rains, the shortfall has not been felt in the USA market, where volumes until now have been trending normally. This market will be well supplied into at least the middle of April. Growers are being extra cautious when packing SUNRAYS® grapes. Some of the new varieties, such as Sweet Celebration, seem to be faring particularly well.
