Thompson Seedless grapes from week of January 11, 2022

“For Thompsons, we start the harvest last week on the IV region. The fruit looks very good in sizing and color. We are seeing mostly 900 codes. In terms of brix there is few bunches on the vine under 18 brix. For Allisons, we are seeing larger fruit and we will wait one week more until the color is full. We should start the harvest in one week more.” – Exser

VARIETIES WE ARE CURRENTLY SHIPPING

Sweet Globes, Thompsons (Peru)

VARIETIES WE WILL BE SHIPPING SOON

Sweet Globes, Thompsons, Ivory (Peru), ARRA15 (Chile)

OUR OUTLOOK

Lengthy container delays continue to be a problem in covering market demands. The Peruvian harvest has slowed, and a lack of refrigerated containers has further impacted deliveries to market. The situation will gradually improve, aided by some early Chilean and a few South African greens. Promotions can be targeted for later in February.
