OUR OUTLOOK

Over the next week, the predominant green seedless varieties will transition from Early Sweets into Sugraones and proprietary types such as Sugar Drops, Timpsons, and Sweet Globes. Markets should adjust this week, with many retailers coming off ad and more volumes crossing into Nogales. Proprietary-type green seedless will peak in mid to late June.

Mexican production on Flames should ramp up this week. Additionally, proprietary type varieties such as Passion Fire and Sweet Celebration are just getting started now. As with the greens, the peak promotional period for Flames is expected to be the weeks of June 7th and 14th loading, and for proprietary varieties maybe one week later.
