This year’s election is so much bigger than who will be President. Your vote is your voice on issues like education, healthcare, the environment and more!
We’ve put together a list of just a few reasons why should register and vote:
1. Choose your future.
It’s easy to forget how fortunate we are to have the power to decide on the future we want for ourselves and future generations. Voting is your chance to stand up for issues that matter most to you. It can be things like raising the minimum wage, equality opportunity, protecting local wildlife, or funding local schools. This is your life and your community. Take the time to decide how you want it to look like tomorrow and years from now.
2. Not voting is giving up your voice.
If you don’t vote, someone else will. Are you ready to let others decide the issues that matter most to you and your family? Take a few minutes to learn about the policies and candidates. Only you can decide what’s important to you, don’t let someone else chose for you!

Those officials that are elected to office such as county/city commissioners, the governor, state officials, legislators, President, and members of Congress will decide how to pay for public services with the money collected from your taxes. That‘s right. YOU are paying for these services. This is your chance to actively participate in deciding how YOUR dollars will be spent.
